Its been a while again since the last post, why does life have to get in the way of craft/art lol
I was inspired the other day to do some more spindle spinning by Jude (judelicious) on flickr. She's just learning to and her yarn is gorgeous.
I had to spin some myself to and this is hand washed ,dyed ,carded and spun on a spindle merino x borderleicester multi-colored and plyed with pink merino. I really love the colors and my favorite at the moment is all greens mixed with all pinks. Very old world and gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours. It is so exciting when we get some wool or yarn that is just screaming to be made into something. I received some complimentary wool from my supplier today. Blue faced Leicester at its finest. A mixture of grey, beige and white intermingled. So beautiful...

i love these colours, especially as i'm really drawn to them right now - everything i want to make seems to have pink and green in it!
ReplyDeleteyes, you're right, life does sometimes get in the way, i vote for at least another ten hours in the day so i can do everything i 'must' and still have time to create :)
LOL oh me to i cant seem to get enough of them. and Yep i agree with you there, Just so many things to do and not enough time.
